The organizing committee of the 67th Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference (CSChE), is proud to announce the Undergraduate Research Symposium. This session is aimed to present a podium for undergraduate students an opportunity to share their research work amongst their peers and the chemical engineering community.
Participants should be currently registered as an undergraduate student or should have completed an undergraduate program in the last one year. Participants must register by the Early Bird Deadline. The research should be related to areas that broadly fall within the domain of Chemical Engineering.
Abstract Submission and Selection Process
Undergraduate students interested in this event need to submit an abstract to the Undergraduate Research Symposium session during abstract submission. The abstract, written in layman terms, should address the problem that your research project aims to solve; your contributions and their significance. In a case where a student wishes to participate both in a regular session of the CSChE and in the undergraduate student symposium, two independent abstracts need to be submitted (one under the regular session and one under the undergraduate research symposium).
Selection will be based on the quality of the abstract. Both oral and poster presentations are possible. If you prefer a poster presentation, please mention it in your abstract.
Abstract Submission Deadline
The deadlines are the same as for conference abstracts, submissions open March 24. After abstract screening, all selected candidates will be notified by Aug 1, 2017. Applicants who have not registered for the conference by the early bird deadline will be automatically removed.
